On the island of Sandoy you will visit a few villages, and make several photo stops the along the way. After a few hours on the island of Sandoy we will take the ferry back to the island of Streymoy, and visit the historic village of Kirkjubøur, were you will see the oldest church, the only cathedral in the Faroe Islands, and visit the oldest inhabited wood house in Europe, where the 17th generation descendants of the family Pæturson live. After we’ve seen all that the village of Kirkjubøur has to offer, we’ll head back to Tórshavn and you will be dropped off right at your hotel.

Depart on the ferry to the island of Sandoy.
Arrive at the island of Sandoy, in the village of Skopun
See the old village church
See some of the oldest historical remains in the Faroe islands and the scars left behind by world war two
Arrive in the beautiful village of Dalur to take some photographs
Arrive in the village of Skarvanes, to eat our packed lunch
and enjoy the breathtaking views of the islands of Skúvoy and Stora

Depart for the village of Søltuvik, were your guide will tell you all about the history of the village
Depart from Søltuvik, with several photo stops along the way
Depart on the ferry, back to the mainland
Drive to the village of Kirkjubø, were the oldest residential house is situated. And the oldest stone church in the Faroe islands.
Arrive back in the capital Tórshavn.
