Tórshavn is one of the world's smallest capitals, beautifully situated at the foot of the surrounding mountains and with a panoramic view of the island of Nólsoy. The city was founded in the year 825 and has been named after the Nordic God Thor. When you get into the old town of Reyn and Tinganes and wander between the houses, you experience a jumble of alleys and narrow alleys.
