Description
You can't miss this tour: it represents an unique opportunity to have a photographer at disposal who drives you where you can take special pictures of the sun which never sets. You will be, even if just for one night, a real Arctic photographer in search of the perfection of the golden and bright summer lights, You will be accompanied by our photographer to the discover of the Atlantic side, the wildest one of the archipelago, where the sun shines and reflects its golden and warm lights and shades during the whole night.
The white nights are a special phenomenon which can be observed at this latitude from May up to the end of July. Don't miss the opportunity to capture the Arctic summer colors and take fantastic memory pictures. And if you don't have a camera, our photographer will shoot for you. The pictures taken will be sent by e-mail without any additional cost.

Time schedule (approximate):
08.50pm
Pick up at the accommodation booked in Kabelvåg and meet with our photo
guide.
09.00pm
Pick up at the accommodation in Svolvær and meet with our photo guide
09.00pm
the guide will drive you south, towards the Atlantic side where the midnight
sun
is visible in all its splendour.

First photo stop at Lyngvær, where there is the famous “mirror” reflecting the
mountains
and fjord on the background.

Second stop at Gimsøy bru, where the light and the landscape perfectly mix with
modern
architecture.

Continue to the wild and untamed Eggum, one of the best location to admire the
sun
which never sets and capture unforgettable pictures.
10.45pm Arrival in Eggum and where you will start your photo
adventure. In Eggum you
will enjoy the real Arctic landscape: stop at the white sandy
beach, stop at the fortress,
the panoramic viewpoint facing the open sea, stop at Eggum’s head, the
famous
Norwegian sculpture,
which changes shape and therefore also content 16
times if you walk
around it; from one angle, it looks like a classic portrait,
while from another
angle it looks like a head turned upside down.
Eggum can be considered a highlight for the
photographers and photo lov-
ers with its high pics, the oldest of northern Norway,
rocky beach mixed with
white sand and crystal open sea, lakes, rivers, old
fishermen’s cabins in mul-
tiple colours and shapes.
11.45pm you will continue your photo
adventure towards Gimsøy island. Stop
at Gimsøysand and capture the golden, pink, red,
orange light at night.
00.30 Departure to Kabelvåg and Henningsvær.
01.00am Arrival at the hotel and drop off.
