Bergen - Folgefonna Glacier Private Cruise One-day tour

Our partner: See The Fjords

Description

We depart from Bergen city center, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city, including Mount Fløyen and Mount Ulriken.

We slowly cruise out the fjords from Bergen. The scenery changes gradually from when we leave the second largest city in Norway, passing the suburbs, to when we pass narrow fjords, islands and villages, and into the Hardanger Fjord- to the village Jondal. Here we will have lunch at the hotel, before our car (BMW X5) is waiting for you to go up to the Folgefonna glacier, about 19 km each way.

Up at the glacier, we can either just walk over to the glacier for a look, or hire a VIP guided tour to walk on the glacier for typically 3 hours. When finished, we go back down to the village, to go by car, with ferry crossing the fjord, and via Norheimsund and Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall + Fossen Bratte on the way back to Bergen.

We should be back in Bergen around 20:00
