The famous King crab and other seafood are some of the delights to be caught on this amazing trip to the Northernmost parts of the Arctic. A guide will pick you up from Ivalo or Rovaniemi and drive to Inari for visiting to the famous Sami museum, Siida. Next and major destination point is Kirkenes in Norway, where a trained diver will catch a crab and sea urchins in front of your eyes. The Arctic King Crab is one of the most sought after meals in top restaurants, and yet here, you get to eat the best and the freshest, pulled from the fjord in front of your eyes. 

While out on the boat, experience the floating in waterproof survival suits on the Arctic Ocean. During the dark nights, the Northern Lights may appear in clear sky as you float! Afterward, spend relaxing night in your seaside wooden chalet. On the next day, make a stop at Saariselkä village for a visit Kaunispää fell and enjoy a buffet lunch before heading back to Ivalo or Rovaniemi.

Additional information

  • At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays
  • At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays
  • Children under 14 year old must be accompanied by one adult paying full price joining the same trip.
  • Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
  • Product may be canceled or rescheduled if the group size is smaller than 2 persons. Notice will be given prior to the scheduled departure date.
  • The transportation to the sea can be boats or snowmobiles with sleighs depending on seasons and availability.

A guide will pick you up from Rovaniemi or Ivalo and drive north to Inari to wander the fascinating exhibits of the “Siida” Sami museum, where you can learn about the local indigenous culture of Lapland. Don’t forget to buy a postcard in the gift shop for your friends or family. On the way to the seafood safari, you will have car excursion in Kirkenes, Norway.

Learn from the expert divers how to catch and cook the delicious king crab and sea urchin. Savor a feast of fresh seafood on the boat in the ocean! Afterward, put on a survival swimming suit and head to float in the refreshment Arctic Ocean waters. Take a rest in your seaside wooden chalet before you set off to Northern Lights tour.

After breakfast, start your journey back to Finland. Your next destination point is Saariselkä where you will enjoy lunch buffet and picturesque views. This is one of the most popular villages in Finland situated in a mountainous area. Next to the village is located Kaunispää fell thats over 400 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the surroundings. Breathe deeply the fresh, clean air of the Arctic tundra. Then we’ll be back to your starting location. Keep an eye out for freely walking reindeer by the roads!
