Join us on our Cliffs of Moher tour as we discover some of the most dramatic cliffs in Ireland. We will educate you not only on the flora and fauna of this area but the fascinating history. No holiday in Ireland is complete without a trip to the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Visit O’Brien’s Tower, watch an interactive video at the Visitor’s Center and stroll the clifftop, admiring the panoramic views out to the ocean and the Aran Islands. In good weather, we can have lunch next to the cliffs. Another inviting option is to head to the charming village of Doolin for lunch. Doolin is a charming village with excellent food options. Try the seafood! Our journey then takes us to the limestone wonder called The Burren, which is a rocky yet fertile landscape for plants and flowers. Colourful flowers have burst through the clints and grikes of this limestone pavement, making it a truly unique location and a thriving ecosystem. Some varieties of flowers can only be found in this region. Navigate the rocky surface as you explore the Burren’s landscape. After we’ve strolled around the Burren, we will visit the historic vibrant city of Galway. We return to Dublin via a different route to ensure you have the opportunity to see more of the delightful west coast.

DAY 1
6:50AM : DEPART DUBLIN

We meet at the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street (map is linked on our booking page). You’ll board our comfortable coach, meet your guide and fellow adventurers and head west out of Dublin. We’ll pass the Guinness Factory and Kilmainham Jail. We will also pass the Curragh horse racing track. There are quaint villages, lush countryside and even some castle ruins to see as we head towards the Cliffs of Moher.  

DAY 2

you will have the opportunity to stroll around the impressive cliff top, enjoying panoramic views and taking in the history of the area. Marvel at the captivating landscape and stunning views out to sea. You will certainly take lovely photos here! Included in the price is entrance to the cliffs as well as viewing an interactive video in the visitors centre. Feel the breeze on your face as you look out at the waves crashing against the cliffs below (from a safe distance!). This is a lovely walk, the landscape changes as you move and each angle is more stunning than the next.

DAY 3

After exploring the cliffs, you will have worked up an appetite, so we will stop for lunch at the delightful village of Doolin. Doolin is well-known for its traditional Irish music and is located near Lisdoonvarna, famous for its matchmaking festival. We usually eat at Fitzpatrick’s Pub, which has delicious fish and seafood chowder. There are plenty of options available for all palates. Relax and recharge for the remainder of our visits today. Enjoy lunch here before boarding the bus again for further adventure. ( Lunch not included )

After lunch we head to the karst landscape of the Burren. It is almost like taking a lunar walk as you traverse the rocky limestone exterior. This is a unique region which is home to many plants and flowers which manage to grow within fertile crevices in the rocky ground. Lovely orchids and bright gentian blue flowers only grow in this part of the country. See if you can spot them! Take a refreshing stroll right on the coast and navigate the rocky landscape as you explore the Burren.

Discover the Bohemian city of Galway, it is renowned for its brightly painted pubs, live music and cafés. galway is a city steeped in history, explore the meandering streets and listen to the many street performers from around the world who call this city their home. Remnants of the medieval town walls lie between shops selling Aran sweaters, handcrafted Claddagh rings and stacks of second-hand and new books. This ‘City of Tribes’ will sure to be a highlight of your day tour!
