This tour operates from 01 November to 31 March.
Departing from the Arthurs Quay, Limerick at 08:30 daily, November to March, your fully trained, local driver / guide will take you out over the river Shannon, on past Bunratty Castle and onto the Burren via Ennis.
Our first stop today is Poulnabrone Dolmen. The Burren’s most iconic landmark was constructed by Neolithic farmers over 5,800 years ago, making it older than the Egyptian Pyramids.
Following the dolmen we descend through the glacio-karst landscape of the Burren and onto the Aillwee Cave. Your ticket today includes a fully guided tour of these dramatic underground caverns, bridged chasms and frozen waterfall. (entry fee included).
Departing the Aillwee Cave, we follow the Wild Atlantic Way along the coast of County Clare, passing Black Head, Wild Atlantic Way - Discovery Point and seeing Fanore Strand, Wild Atlantic Way - Discovery Point.
From here you can see the Aran Islands locking in Galway Bay and in the distance the mountains of Connemara, stopping for some amazing photo opportunities before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher for a 2 hour stop. Wild Atlantic Way - Signature Point. (entry fee included).
The Cliffs of Moher are one of Irelands most spectacular sights and one of the 'Signature Points' on the Wild Atlantic Way. Rising 214 meters out of the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs of Moher offer one of the most amazing views in Ireland.
After the Cliffs of Moher, you'll return to Limerick via Lahinch, where we stop for lunch and a chance to walk the amazing beach.

Our locally sourced and trained driver / guide will take you from Limerick via Ennis and the heart of the Burren to the Cliffs of Moher. En route, you will pass stone age monuments, medieval castles, beautiful little villages, fields of dry stone walls and the amazing rural landscapes of County Clare. Our driver / guide will entertain you with insights into the geology, history and stories of the landscapes in view.
The tour vehicle stops briefly at the Bunratty Castle Hotel adjacent to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Built to impress in the 15th century, Bunratty Castle is one of the most splendid in Ireland. It's bold outline dominates the skyline as you pass.
The tour vehicle does a quick pick up at The Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis, before heading out into wilds of County Clare. Ennis or 'Inis' in Irish meaning 'Island.' The name relates to an island formed between two courses of the River Fergus on which the Franciscan Friary was built in the 13th century.
A dolmen consists of three standing stones on which a huge capstone is placed. Poulnabrone Dolmen was constructed by Neolithic farmers over 5,500 years ago and is one the Burren's most iconic landmarks.

After our tour of the Ailwee Cave, it's back on the tour vehicle to continue our tour. From here we travel via Ballyvaighan along the Wild Atlantic Way passing Blackhead, Fanore and Doolin before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher.
Once at the Cliffs of Moher, our driver / guide will present you with your entry ticket to the Cliffs of Moher, ticket is included in the tour price. The Cliffs of Moher is Ireland's most visited natural attraction. Standing at 214 meters at their highest point and stretching out for 8 km along the Wild Atlantic Way. The Cliffs of Moher offer one of the most spectacular views in Ireland. You ticket entitles you to admission to the eco-friendly visitors centre, The Atlantic Edge. The Atlantic Edge exhibition brings the story of the cliffs to life.
Following our 2 hour stop at the Cliffs of Moher we head for Lahinch and lunch.
After working up an appetite at the Cliffs of Moher, we make the short journey to Lahinch. There are a number of food options here, ask our driver / guide for recommondations.
Following lunch, re-board the tour vehicle, sit back and relax while our driver / guide returns you to your pick up location,
