These stops include Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring and the magnificent Hraunfossar and Barnafossar lava waterfalls. The waterfalls are not just beautiful and serene, they also come with folk tales and myths that lend insight into Icelandic history and culture.
After a lunch break in Húsafell the tour heads to Víðgelmir cave, one of the largest natural lava caves in the world and the largest of its kind in Iceland. At 148,000 m3, it is truly a sight to behold and this guided tour inside the cave is an unforgettable experience. An adventure for the senses, the cave exhibits gorgeous, colourful lava in all its grandeur, showcasing how magma flows and lava hardens.
Following what will surely have been an otherworldly experience, the tour heads to the geothermal pool at Húsafell to relax and let it all sink in before heading back to Reykjavik.
