Drive your snowmobile to a fellside mine and find your lucky gemstone

Find your lucky stone! This scenic safari takes you by snowmobile to a famous amethyst mine. You are invited inside wooden houses that are covered with snow but always warm inside! Here you will learn about a purple variation of quartz, formed about 2000 million years ago, deep inside the ancient mountain. While sipping warm beverages, a guide will lead you through the fascinating world of amethysts. At the mine, you’ll have an opportunity to dig out your very own lucky stone before returning to Luosto by snowmobile.

What´s Included

What to bring

Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.

Additional information

Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.

Child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price. Children under 2 years are not recommended to take part on snowmobile safaris. Snow Games Ltd reserves the right to deny the participation of small children due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions).

- This safari is co2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission

- Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement  € 20 per safari driver.

- Solo riding possibility. Supplement for solo riding € 50 / person
