20:00 – 02:00 Direct Departure / Duration 2 hours, Flight time 1 hour. 

How do you see the northern lights in cloudy, snowy and rainy days? This private plane will take you through the thick clouds to the clear sky to watch the Northern Lights and enjoy this unique experience of the nature in an exclusive way. The captain will follow the Northern Lights by plane and let you capture the beautiful Northern Lights photo. This trip definitely will make you feel special and unique, not many people have the chance to experience northern lights trough the air!

The best way to see the Northern Lights is to see them from the sky! We will take you to Rovaniemi airport, where a plane will take you up to the sky to see the Northern Lights from the best viewpoint.

The airplane has an anti-icing system and carries up to seven passengers. There will be two pilots, and the flight time is around 1 hour, including takeoff and landing. After landing, we will take you back to your hotel.

  • Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed due to they are subject to weather conditions and the solar activity
  • It's possible that flights will be cancelled in case of bad weather.
  • Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
  • At least 2 adults are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays
  • At least 4 adults are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays
