Duration: 2 Days
To begin our 2-day trip, we will drive to a traditional reindeer farm in Sinettä. You will be face-to-face with some of the most majestic animals in the region and even ride on a reindeer-pulled sleigh. Afterwards, we will continue to Svanstein (or Pello): a premier downhill skiing location just across the Swedish/Finnish border. There will also be a barbecue lunch prepared. On a lighter note, we will then go to our lakeside cabin for some well-deserved rest. There will also be a lakeside sauna for you to relax in. Finally, you can tuck in to your own glass-roofed “Aurora Nest” for the night, and have the ultimate aurora watching experience.
Moving forward to our second day, you will come out to the lake and try luck in ice-fishing. Your guide will demonstrate to you how to use the ice fishing drill and rod, including how to drill a hole through thick ice! Anything you catch can be cooked. We will also provide moose meat and other side dishes for a complete meal in the lakeside cabin.
The final stop is at the Arctic Snowhotel in Sinettä. The Arctic Snowhotel is newly built every winter, so you are sure to get a fresh new room. The hotel includes an ice bar, ice sculptures, and even an ice chapel. Once the visit to the snowhotel has ended, we will return you back to Rovaniemi.

Are you ready for the winter wilderness? Leave with us for a two-day trip full of wilderness experiences. First, we will drive to a traditional reindeer farm in Sinettä. Come to meet these majestic animals and even ride a reindeer-pulled sleigh, and then we’ll head to Svanstein (or Pello), a premier skiing location for downhill skiing and a barbecue lunch. Afterward, we will head to the lakeside cabin for some well-deserved relaxation and some time in the lakeside sauna. Next, spend the night in our “Aurora Nest” with a see-through roof, for the ultimate night aurora experience.
DAY 2
Ice fishing and Snow hotel

We will go ice-fishing on the lake. A professional will teach you how to use the ice fishing drill and rod. We can cook anything you catch, and we also provide moose meat as well as other ingredients for you in the lakeside cabin. Our final stop will be the Arctic snow hotel in Sinettä, built anew every year, with an ice bar, ice sculptures, and even an ice chapel. Finally, we’ll drive you back to Rovaniemi.
