Join this full day excursion to the southernmost island of the Faroe Islands, Suðuroy. The journey starts in Tórshavn, where you will be picked up in the morning by our professional and passionate tour guides, and we head right down to the harbour to the biggest inland ferry of the Faroe Islands, Smyril.
Onboard this comfortable ferry is a great restaurant where you can buy yourself some breakfast or warm meal.
The sail from Tórshavn to Suduroy takes two hours, and along the way you will be spoiled with fantastic views like the two small islands Stóri Dímun & Lítli Dímun

Depart from Tórshavn with the ferry called Smyril
Sail for two hours to the southernmost island, Suduroy.
On the journey we will sail past Stóri Dímun, Lítli Dímun & Sandoy
Arrive in Suduroy, and we drive to the village of Tvøroyri to see some rare rock formations.
Depart Tvøroyri, and drive to the village of Hvalba, which is one of the most beautiful villages of the Faroe Islands.
Drive to places like Hvalbiareidi and Fiskieidi, to see beautiful landscapes.
Drive to the Northernmost village of Suduroy, Sandvík
After spending some time in Sandvík, we drive South to a village called Fámjin, where the oldest Faroese flag is located inside an old church.
The journey goes all the way to the Southernmost village, Sumba and we will pass the villages of Vagur and Lobra.
After exploring the village for a while we take another route back from Sumba, and drive past the villages of Porkeri and Hov.
Back at the ferry, Smyril and head back to Tórshavn
Arrive back in Tórshavn, and drive you back to your hotel or designated drop-off place
