Description
Enjoy most of the wonders of the Faroe Islands on this 6 days package tour around the islands, while the experienced tour guide explains all the history about the surroundings. You will visit places like Mykines, Saksun, Gjógv, Kalsoy, Sandoy, and many other magical places.
Besides walking around in the villages and the hike to the lighthouse in Mykines, these tours are doable by everyone, and you don’t have to walk many steps on Kalsoy or Mykines to find yourself in the middle of thousands of puffins. If you don’t want to think about ferry tickets, routes, road signs, trails and just want to enjoy and explore, this tour is perfect for you, because everything is prepared, and you will be picked up at your hotel or designated area in Tórshavn every morning, and you will also be provided with packed lunch and drinks on all our tours.

- If you haven't purchased hiking option beforehand, but would like to join the hikers, no problem! Just Join the hikers, and pay for the hike afterwards.
- It can get cold and windy during the tours so please bring warm clothing and good footwear.

Monday: 09.00-20.30
Depart from Tórshavn.
Drive to Kollafjørð and stop for coffee
Depart from Kollafjørð and drive past the villages of – Hósvík, Skálabotn, Skipanes, Syðra and Norðagøtu.
Drive by mountain road to the village of Leirvík, where you will be able to see some historical residential, Viking remains.
Drive to the sub sea tunnel to the Northern Islands
Stop at the village of Kunoy, where there will be a photo opportunity.
Depart from Kunoy and drive to the villages of Árnafjørð and Norðdepil for more photo opportunities.
Drive to the village of Viðareiði, through the newest tunnel in the Faroe islands.
Depart the village of Viðareiði and drive towards Klaksvík
Arrive in the village of Klaksvík, where you will be able to walk around while waiting for the ferry.

Arrive at Leitisvatn and see the statue of “Nykur”, a mythical faroes figure
Arrive at the village of Bøur, where you will get the opportunity to walk around the village and see the amazing views of Tindholmur and Drangarnir.
back on the bus and drive to the village of Gásadalur.

Depart from Tórshavn towards Vestmanna
Drive past the villages of Leynar, Stykki and Kvívík.
Arrive at the village of Vestmanna.
Board the ferry and begin the journey to the bird cliffs. The sail trip is 2 hours
Back on shore, and you will be given a packed lunch and beverages
Drive around the beautiful village, and visit some local places
Depart from Vestmanna, and visit the village of Kvívík on our way back were we will visit some historical residential remains.
Departure Kvívík, and take the scenic mountain road with plenty of photo opportunities

Depart from the village of Tjornuvik, and head towards Eiðisskarð and along the way we cross the Bridge between Streymoy and Eysturoy

The best way to experience Mykines for a day. We will take care of everything so that you can relax and enjoy every minute of Mykines and all the puffins. We will supply you with a packed lunch and beverage for the hike.
After you have been picked up in Tórshavn you can enjoy the 40 minutes drive to Sørvágur ferry port. From there we will take the boat to Mykines. The sailing time is around 45 minutes along stunning scenery and cliffs.
When we arrive in Mykines the group will take a stroll in the only village on the island. There we will get ready to experience Mykines, the islet Mykineshólmur, and all the puffins. Puffins nest all along the hiking path. The hike is approx. 2 hours and is high medium to low difficult.
When back in the village Mykines, we will get warm with a meal, drinks, coffee and a local homemade cake. Back in the village Sørvágur you will be taken by bus back to the capital, Tórshavn and your hotel.
