The powerful Skógafoss waterfall is one of the most visited places in Iceland, and for a good reason. This waterfall is a photographic delight. You will have the option to walk up a flight of steps for a scenic view of the south coast and the black sandy beaches that lies on the Atlantic coastline.
At Reynisfjara you can see where the waves hit shore with gigantic force, but be careful the nature can be dangerous in the same time is can be beautiful. From Reynisfjara you can see the rock formation known as Dyrhóley and Reynisdrangar sea cliffs.
If luck is with you, you will spot the cute puffins all around the place during summer season.
Our route to the south coast ends at Vík í mýrdal, a cute village located at the very south of Iceland. Here you will have time for lunch and some souvenir shopping. After lunch you have short time to walk to the shore and see Reynisdrangar cliffs from another angle and the famous village's church, resting on the top of the town.
Short stop at Sólheimajökull glacier will show you the absolute beauty of Iceland. The rugged glacier can take all kinds of forms and is constantly melting due to global warming. We hope this stop will enlighten you of the icy world Iceland used to be.
The Seljalandsfoss waterfall is for many guests the highlight of this trip, as you can walk along and behind this waterfall offering a completely unique perspective; just be sure to bring a rain jacket! From here we will spend about 1.5hrs in the coach returning to Reykjavik.
